RasterCore

A site focused on classic computer hardware and graphics from the 1980s and 1990s

Welcome to RasterCore. This site explores the intersection of retro hardware and modern web tech. Here you will find classic demoscene effects and old-school graphical algorithms, originally written in Assembly or other programming language for the Amiga and PC, now faithfully re-implemented using WebGL and Three.js for real-time execution in your browser.

Next is the technical blog where dive a bit deeper into the silicon that made it all possible—from the custom chips of the Amiga (Agnus, Denise, Paula) to the pioneering 32-bit architecture of the Intel 80386. Also the hardware section will have a compelling list and information about retro hardware.
